Stuff that makes me happy - May

Hullo! These are some little doodles I drew on my diary of the stuff that have brought me a lot of joy this month. Let's start:

• Flips and Chokis:  I'm a lover of chocolate and these are, hands down, my favorites snacks. Not so sweet and enough cholatey for my taste. I like to accompany them with a cup of coffee to help balance the sugar of the flavors. Flips are like cereal, they sell it in a lot of different presentations: a box, bag, the filling to spread, etcetera etcetera. When I was a kid, my parents used to let me choose a whole box of Flips for myself whenever we went to the supermarket and the moment we arrived home I would devour it all. Like really fast, it didn't last much haha. I swear to you I don't eat them like that anymore; I can moderate myself!
And Chokis are chocolate chips cookies with on side covered on chocolate. This is the only Chokis I like because the ones without the covered side taste so bland.

• Voltage Live: I have been a fan of Vocaloid for almost 20 years now and have watched a ton of concerts since then. But this, holy shit, is the best concert that they had ever made. It's so big and with so many stuff we haven't had before like fire, smoke, the screen actually trying to not look like a screen and act like is part of the stage. It's so well done it's difficult to notice. They even added a 2D animation of Miku over 3D Miku at some point! The black and white effect on OOPÁrts. The songs, the choreography, everything...  is so, so good. And I love it, lots and lots. I always get teary-eyed whenever I rewatch it.

• Tikki AKA Nena: My sister's dog that is more ours than hers, really. I love her a lot, I have her too spoiled. She is going to appear constantly on these lists.

• numb numb by TAK feat. Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto: I haven't until now liked a song by this producer. I watched their stuff mostly for the videos instead of the music because they always have great character design and animation. But I knew when I saw the promo art for their newest piece that it was going to be a lot different than their usual style, so I was actually excited to give it a listen. And wow, I was not disappointed. It's really beautiful, the yearning and softness of the lyrics, the majestic animation that made it look like a film, the expressions of Teto and Miku at the start and the end of the video, "loving you"... So beautiful.

It got to 1 Million views recently. Totally deserved.

• Codex Entry's Pathologic 3 playthrough: I love the Patho games but they have a lot of small text on a black background and I haven't been able to watch them for that reason (I don't play games, I like watching them more). My eyes can't stand the contrast and the glare of the white on black and I know how painful it will be for my poor eyes. But when I gave it a try to see how she'll play it I got really excited when she read out loud all the dialogue options, saving me of doing that myself. Until now she is the only that have done that, the other's I tried watching only read the option they were going to choose. And I love reading them all, they say so much about the characters. And she has friends with her on the stream that voiced the other characters and it's so fun. So yeah, I'm enjoying them a lot. Lots of fun!
